Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough

NT$260

Sharp cheddar and jalapeño meet the grain and naturally fermented character of our sourdough. As it bakes, the cheese melts into the crumb, bringing deep savory richness and a rounded mouthfeel, while the jalapeño adds a bright, distinct heat without overwhelming the bread. The crust is crisp and chewy; the crumb stays moist and springy, with pockets of melted cheddar adding extra softness and richness.

To enjoy
Enjoy within about three days when kept at room temperature. For longer storage, slice before freezing and keep for up to about 30 days. To reheat, lightly mist the bread with water and bake at 200°C for about three minutes, warm it in a rice cooker without adding water, or pan-toast slices with a little olive oil until crisp on both sides. Enjoy it on its own or with fried eggs, avocado, or salad. Pan-toasting the slices brings the cheddar aroma forward.
